Alright, after clarifying with the Mods...

It is correct as it is. The participation points are included into the first/second/third placings, and it doesn't matter how many icons you enter. Whether it be one or two, you still receive the same points and knuts because you're still participating once.

Sorry if there was any confusion on my part.
