Happy Monday everyone! Hope you're having a great start to the week.

This weeks challenge is black and white. For this challenge, only black, white, and grey colors may be used.

When you submit these grapics, include your name and house, as well as the image and URL for the graphics. Without the above, you graphics will not be included. One icon (max: 100 x 100, smaller than 40k), one FO banner (max: 400 x 350), and/or one header (max: 800 x 350) may be submitted for this challenge.

Also, just to note: We have had a series of challenges where the graphics didn't need to necessarily include HP cast or scenes. This challenge must include something HP-related, just so ya know!

Don't hesistate to ask questions if necessary!

Are we allowed to have colored font or does that have to be black and white too, because its hard to get gray text to show on a gray picture?

100% black and white. So no colored font. Sorry...

I dont wanna sound like a brat, but that makes it really hard to make icons, considering they're so small already, having font that blends in will be close to illegible. But it is our choice not to do one so yeah, never mind, I'm rambling.

I understand the frustration, I do. I'm in the process of cramming for a stats class, but once I get back, I will try and find some tutorial links to help. Just for starters while I'm gone, though, I'd check icon_tutorial.

Sorry I'm being such a pain about this! I promise to help in any way that I can...once I get back, that is. Gotta go buy Rent today, after all :)

I have two quick questions, since I'm new here.

1. We submit our entries by replying to this post with the url to our pic and our house? Just want to make sure I have this correct!

2. What if I haven't gotten my Gringotts vault yet? (I submitted a number, but it haven't been approved yet) Will I still get my knuts as well as points for participating?

1. Correct, but you also need to include the image itself. So your post should look like this:

To add the image, type it out like this < img src="YOUR LINK HERE" > without the spaces after the bracket things.


2. Yes, you will still get your knuts. Those are all deposted by the same people who approve your vault. You'll get those at the end of the month.
