Here, finally, is Challenge #13. I am very sorry, everyone. I dislocated my shoulder earlier in the week and after a large storm, my internet was down all of yesterday. Make a Friends-Only Banner centered around/related to the theme Spells.

WHAT THIS MEANS

Feel free to go wild with your imagination and extend your creativity to its limits. You can make an FO Banner featuring someone casting a spell, or use stock photos to depict what you imagine a spell would look like when it's cast. It's up to you.

GUIDELINES

QUOTES

SPECIFICATIONS

+ You can [a]use 1 quote [b]use 2 quotes or [c]use all the quotes provided.
+ There must be at least THREE (3) consecutive words used from the quotes.
+ They must be coherent. "But who they" will not be accepted. "Forget to live" is acceptable.

First off, I'd like to say a big hello to everyone and introduce myself: I'm Laura and I'll be your new co-mod here at Sorted Challenge! I'm excited to be here and am looking forward to working with all of you. :D

Since

angeleyesjg24 is still on hiatus, I'm going to go ahead and start up the new challenge and see if we can't get things going around here again since it seems to have floundered a bit in her absence. I love this challenge and we need to get it going again, yeah? ;)

The challenge for this week is "There's a first time for everything." Perhaps take some examples of firsts from Harry's first year, like first flying lessons or Harry's discovery of magic? Use your creativity and play!

Okay, seeing how the vote is now, the former contest is now dropped.

midnightdream_ will recieve 10 participation points for Gryffindor house, as she was our one participant.

Our new contest is based on the theme of discovery. This can deal with discovery of any kind in the series (example: Harry finds out he's a wizard). There are dozens and dozens of discoveries within the novels/movies, and I hope this challenge is enjoyed more than the previous one.

This weeks theme is "If I were a muggle..." This challenge comes from our suggestions post via

sweetgarbage. This contest will feature wizard-folk in the ordinary muggle jobs we assume they would have (ex. Lucius Malfoy as a politician). This may be made as a manip, or hand-drawn, or whatever! Graphics will still be in the icon, FO banner, and/or Header format. If the profession is not obvious, then you will need to state it somewherre on the graphic.

Greetings, salutations, and what up? :)

Before I get started on this week's challenge, I'd like to make one thing clear that maybe was unclear before. Unless stated otherwise, all graphics MUST be related to the HP-verse. I know we had a run of challenges where you could make graphics not featuring HP-related images. However, this is a rare case, not commonplace. From now on, please make all of your graphics related to Harry Potter, unless the challenge specifically states otherwise, or they will be excluded from the competition.

With that said...ON TO THE CHALLENGE!

This week's challenge will be a minor characters challenge. This will be to make graphics featuring those characters who don't always get attention in the books or movies. The more obscure, the better! Because of this, you may use other actors/individuals outside of movie!Cannon for the roles, because many have not been cast yet (or may not be cast ever).
