Hello everyone, I'm your new mod, here posting my first challenge. This one was reccommended to us by maegwin_of_hern, and both Anna and I thought that it was perfect for this season.

This week's theme is the Yule Ball, celebrating wintertime. Please use at least one picture from the Yule Ball, and some kind of holiday lyrics. Please include the song title in your comment with your entry, and use at least three words from that song. You may submit icons, headers and friends only banners. Keep in mind that icons must be useable for LJ (no bigger than 100 x 100 px, 40 kb), FO banners should be under 400 x 350 pixels, and headers should be no larger than 800 x 350 pixels. All images must be in .jpg, .gif or .png format. If you do not sign with your name/house, you will not recieve points. Please make sure you submit the image and URL, it makes life much easier on us Mods.

We've been having a great turnout lately, and I'm really excited to be here. Please submit your entries as a comment to this post - they will be screened of course. If you have any questions or comments, don't hesitate to ask them. Challenge will end on friday, results will be posted on sunday. Have fun, and I can't wait to see what you'll come up with.

When, exactly, is this due by? Time, time zone? (I have papers, so I'm scheduling in when I need to submit.)

Well..I'm not posting the voting for this week. However, I can say that I usually try to wait until 10PM EST on Friday night. However, a lot of times it depends on what is going on in our lives as to if it is posted Friday night or Saturday morning.
