Hi everyone, and a very happy new year from Anna and me. We hope this year will bring nothing but good for all of you. Now this weeks challenge was intended to be posted the last week of the year, but since the last days are usually also the most hectic ones, things got shifted to the first day of the new year. This weeks theme is memories.


So how about some nostalgic art, eh? For this contest, you must feature a character that is no longer alive in the HBP books. So, even though Dumbledore hasn't died in the movies yet, he has in the books so you may use him. You may also use characters from the marauder's era though, Lily and James Potter perhaps, or you may use Cedric, or Sirius. As long as the character is no longer alive.

You may submit icons, headers and friends only banners. Keep in mind that icons must be useable for LJ (no bigger than 100 x 100 px, 40 kb), FO banners should be under 400 x 350 pixels, and headers should be no larger than 800 x 350 pixels. All images must be in .jpg, .gif or .png format. Please make sure you submit the image and URL, and don't forget to sign with your name/house.

I've got a question: can it include someone who's alive too as long as the people who are dead are included? Like, if I did a Marauder Era-themed thing and it had James, Lily, and Sirius, would it be okay if Remus and/or Peter were there too, or would it have to only have the first three?

Oh, and I was wondering...how many submissions can we make of each thing (fo banner, header, icon)? Can we submit multiple sets or only one of each?

One thing for each category (1 icon, 1 header, 1 FO Banner).
